Question
How often can I attempt, and is there a limit on the number of attempts?
Answer
Foundation and Intermediate exams are now held three times a year (January, May and September); the Final is held twice a year (May and November). There is no fixed cap on the number of attempts; instead, your registration has a validity period. Foundation registration is valid for 4 years from your first eligible attempt and cannot be revalidated. Intermediate registration is valid for 5 years and can be revalidated once for a further 5 years. Final registration is valid for 10 years and can be revalidated every 10 years. As long as your registration is valid, you can keep attempting.
