Question
Which papers have MCQs, and do wrong answers cost marks?
Answer
Negative marking applies only to the objective papers at Foundation, not at Intermediate or Final. In Foundation, Papers 1 and 2 (Accounting, Business Laws) are subjective, while Papers 3 and 4 (Quantitative Aptitude, Business Economics) are objective with a deduction of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer. At Intermediate and Final, every paper has a 30% case-scenario or case-study MCQ component and 70% descriptive questions, but there is no negative marking on those MCQs. The Self-Paced Online Modules also carry no negative marking.
