List of Shareholders (Members) — Format for the Annual Return
A ready format of the list of shareholders as on the financial year-end — each member’s name and address, the number of equity shares held and their paid-up value, with a total. It supports the annual return in Form MGT-7 / MGT-7A. Editable Word and ready-to-use PDF.
What the list shows
- Serial number and the full name of the member with father’s / husband’s name.
- Complete address, exactly as in the Register of Members.
- Number of equity shares of the stated face value held by each member.
- Paid-up value of those shares.
- A TOTAL row that must agree with the issued and paid-up capital in your financial statements.
How to prepare and sign it
Draw the entries from the Register of Members (Section 88) as on the year-end date. The totals must tie to the paid-up capital shown in your accounts and in the annual return. The list is signed by two directors (or a director and the company secretary) and kept with the annual-return working papers.
