What it captures
- Date, place and commencement / conclusion time of the AGM.
- Serial number and the name of each member attending (in person or by proxy).
- Signature of each attendee (mark “through VC” where applicable).
How to use it
Every member (or proxy) attending signs against their name. For a private company, two members personally present form the quorum (Section 103). Keep the completed register with the AGM minutes and the statutory records.

Is an attendance register required at the AGM?
Yes. Secretarial Standard SS-2 expects attendance at the general meeting to be recorded; the register is kept with the minutes.
How is attendance recorded for a meeting held through video conferencing?
Record attendance through the platform and mark “through VC” against the member; a physical signature is not needed for VC attendance.
