1. The slab (half-yearly income)
Nil up to ₹11,999; ₹320 for ₹12,000–17,999; ₹450 for ₹18,000–29,999; ₹600 for ₹30,000–44,999; ₹750 for ₹45,000–99,999; ₹1,000 for ₹1,00,000–1,24,999; ₹1,250 for ₹1,25,000 and above.
2. Two payments
For the April–September half by 31 August, and for October–March by 28 February.
3. Cap
The yearly total is capped at ₹2,500.
