I work in Mumbai or Pune. What is the current professional tax slab and how much is deducted from my salary?

In Maharashtra, men earning above Rs 7,500 a month pay professional tax, while women are exempt up to Rs 25,000 a month. For men, salary from Rs 7,501 to Rs 10,000 attracts Rs 175 per month, and above Rs 10,000 it is Rs 200 per month (with Rs 300 in February to total Rs 2,500 a year).
